Meet Our Teachers
The women presenting at the inaugural Plant Magick Gathering are visionary matriarchs with a wealth of experience and know there is ancient wisdom alive in us. Their generative perspectives and dedication to plants, place and people is inspiring and activating.
We are immensely grateful to these teachers for their resounding YES! when asked if they would offer a class at Plant Magick. Please click their links to follow the magick and beauty of these wonderful teachers! We are sooo excited to attend their workshops and classes with you!
Magickal Teachers
We have many incredible teachers, facilitators and ceremonialists lined up. Here is a sampling with the full lineup coming in early August!
Cindi Quay
Cindi Quay is a Native American Traditional Herbalist, storyteller, and proud descendant of the Menominee Nation. As the founder of Cindi's Sacred Garden in Black Mountain, North Carolina, she has spent over 30 years crafting organic herbal remedies, natural skincare, and earth-based wellness products while preserving traditional plant wisdom.
Guided by the teachings of her Aunties, Grandmothers, and Wolf Clan heritage, Cindi has devoted over four decades to studying medicinal plants, Indigenous traditions, and the sacred relationship between women and the Plant Nations. Her passion is helping others reconnect with nature through hands-on learning, storytelling, and practical herbalism.
An Alumni instructor for the HERBalachia Native Herbalism Program and a returning teacher at Wild Herb Weekend, Cindi shares classes on herbal medicine making, plant identification, Native traditions, and women's healing wisdom. Her teachings inspire participants to deepen their connection with the natural world and honor the ancestral knowledge carried through generations.
